Memorial Day

Today I wish I was wearing shorts, but with the torrential downpour of rain we've been facing all day here in Portland, OR,  I've had to resort to jeans. But today, it's not really about what we are wearing, or the millions of sales you could be notified of if you were tracking items at ShopAddiKt.com :) It's about the Veterans, and their families that have survived a tragic and painful  loss. That's what today is about, and I pour my heart out to those who have suffered, losing a loved one is tough and life changing... Here's to all those who have served!

This dress has sentimental value as it was my very first test purchase made through ShopAddiKt.com, and low and behold, everything worked! I have a feeling I won't ever be letting this one go as getting ShopAddiKt to beta was quite the undertaking and emotional roller coaster, as anyone who is starting a business knows!  Then I paired this dress with my fabulous Frye boots, that I absolutely love. The cuffs can also be folded over on top to create different looks. Frye's have most definitely proven to be one of my main weaknesses so far :)

Peplum with a touch of Edge

Joe's jeans are seriously the most comfortable jeans ever, they basically feel like you are wearing pajamas, and I am all about comfort when I'm figuring out what to wear! My watch is Guess, and I want people to know why I love Guess watches so much, as I have almost every color. They have a 10 year warranty, where as more expensive brands typically only have 1-2 year warranties! I have had some Swarovski crystals replaced before for only $10 in shipping and handling.

Editorial Night Shot

The lighting was sooooo awesome, that these turned out completely artistic! We stayed at The W. Which ended up being more of a club than I expected, but it was so much fun, and it's always good to get away and refresh!  The shoes are older ColeHaan with a mixture of cowhide and leather, they are seriously the most comfortable heels ever and I ended up wearing them into the wee hours with no problems! Always love my ColeHaan's!

Feathered

In love with my girlfriend's feathered heels from Michael Kors! Sadly I missed the boat on these and they are no longer available, but I'm keeping an eye out in case something similar comes out, because they are soooo stinkin' cute! Can't believe I"m not even able to Stalk Them on my own ShopAddikt.com site. Hmmmmm....

Just Fab?

Since I'm working on a fashion tech company, ShopAddiKt.com, I decided to start watching the "reality show" Kimora: House of Fab to see the progression of their e-commerce startup, and naturally got sucked in to trying the program out. So I ended up with these "fabulous" heels and earrings for a phenomenal deal. Even still, their is a price for fashion, it just wasn't monetary this time... more like lack of comfort... but what can you expect when wearing heels this high! Will I wear them again? Most definitely :)

Converse Chucks & Etsy Delicacy

This was a day of running all over Portland, doing errands! I always love to rock my Chucks when riding the scooter, and then just top it off with a simple delicate necklace. This piece was gifted to me from my best friend, and I absolutely love it. The other items from this Etsy shop are pretty adorable as well!

Derby Day!

Decided to go to the Derby Event basically late last night, so I was having trouble figuring out what to wear, but when it doubt always go with Classy! I basically pulled this together last minute. My girlfriends and I had a last minute craft session and curled up the brim of the hat to create the chic look with safety pins!  So glad I made it though, the event was a blast! Something about the hats, just makes everyone look so fabulous :)

Scooter Time

It's gorgeous in Portland, today so I'm out and about working on my Aprilia Scarabeo Scooter! I love riding without the distractions of the radio and cell phone... kind of forces you into meditation :)

Pastel Pants

Decided to include my baby boy, Kessler on this one. He's so good to me, and always makes me smile. Everyone needs someone that greets them the way a dog does! It makes you feel so loved :) I'm wearing my all time favorite scoop neck tee from James Perse. They have the tee nailed down pat!
